Childhood is a precious time with seemingly endless days of summer but, as those give way to the longer evenings, the russet light of autumn heralds the crisp, clean mornings of the approaching winter, the season of celebrations and, for the young and young in heart, new adventures and new opportunities.

As seasons change so do fashions, even among the very young; those changes are
reflected in full in this new collection. Perhaps its most distinctive signature is a hint of
formality which sits very comfortably alongside the elegance that has always featured in Sarah Louise collections. That doesn’t mean that you will no longer find casual and less formal clothes, more than able to preserve presentability amongst the regular rough and tumble, but the junior miss in particular is looking forward to a little more sophistication. Of course it is important that the garments we present here are still very much for
children. Adulthood seems to come all too quickly and it would be wrong to hasten its arrival. Whilst this collection embraces changes in taste, it does so with a certain subtlety. That
owes much to the choice of fabrics such as soft cashmere and wool blends, trimmings of fur, delicate and witty details executed with the very finest hand embroidery and the occasional gleam of real Swarvski crystal.

It is an almost worldwide belief that our children deserve the best. That is why Sarah Louise ranges compromise on nothing with the hallmark of excellence in design, fabric, cut, finish and every single stitch. As we look forward to clothing a new generation for a new season we can perhaps take some modest pride in the preceding generations who have cherished Sarah Louise styles
that are now, in turn, still being worn by their children’s children. Fashions change to some degree but quality is timeless.
